Here we go again

I'm at home now for a few more days until I make my way back to Abilene. I really can't believe I'll be doing the Abilene/Tulia trip twice a week again. My last few days at work were fine. Those were great people that I left, but I never made any close relationsihps that I was sad to leave. At times, I look back on my 6th months at Wayland, and am disappointed that I didn't reach out to others more. I can't help that I didn't reach out to them now, but I can do better in my next position. I think it will be much easier in this new environmennt anyay.

We spilled the beans to our church and youth group that we were leaving and it was one of the most difficult things that Clint and I have ever done. We will definately miss the relationships that we've made here, but are still confident that we made the right decision. It's hard to leave a place where you are loved so much, and feel that you made a difference in people's lives. But at the same time it's excited to go to a place where I know we will be challenged in a whole new aspect. Our feelings are bitter-sweet.

I've got a few more days here in Tulia and then start at ACU on Monday the 6th. I'm still homeless...so let's pray I find a place to live between now and then! Here's a few pics of the people we'll miss when we leave Tulia.
Me, Jenn, Jennifer and Melissa. If it weren't for these girls, living in Tulia would have been awful.
Clint and his BFF, Jaxon
Justin and I at our Trunk or Treat. He wore his dad's football uniform from ACU. How appropriate that we're doing the wildcat!
