All grown up

Well, things have been busy lately and that's the reason for my lack of entries. Here's the deal...I got a job! It's not exactly what I want to be doing the rest of my life, but it pays pretty good and I will learn a great deal. I started today at Wells Fargo Bank. I'm pretty much just a teller, but they also require us to open accounts and stuff like that. Today was my first day and I think I've got it down for the most part....I've never seen or handled so much money in my entire life...you'd never guess how much banks have.

After work tonight I came home and took Murphy on a walk and then cooked dinner before church. It's weird this working thing, walking your dog thing, and cooking thing...I feel all grown up.

On Wednesday nights I teach a children's class at our church for the 3-6 year olds. They are absolutely precious. I started a unit last week on how we can use our different parts of our body to serve the Lord. For instance, you can use your ears to listen to God, or your mouth to worship God. Last week I had all my kids brainstorming the different body parts we could use to glorify God with. This sweet little four year old girl was thinking quite hard when she shouted out, "I know, I know, You can use your nose for Jesus." Your nose, I asked, how can you use your nose for Jesus? Her response was priceless...."You can blow your nose for Jesus."

So although I do feel all grown up these past few days, those sweet children in my class are keeping me on my toes and keeping a smile on my face.
