I started blogging a little over two years ago right after Clint and I moved to Tulia. I recently went back through everything I had written and loved remembering the funny stories and the things running through my mind at particular moments. I started the blog because I could only anticipate what was to come in
Clint and I were beginning our lives as real adults. This was our first big move as a married couple, our first church to become ministers at, our first real house together…so many “firsts” for us. Soon after we moved to Tulia, we adopted our first puppy! Murphy added so much to our family and we love that he is still a part of us. (We had to give Murphy to Clint’s parents when we moved back to
We grew so much when we were in Tulia….physically because of all the potlucks…but spiritually as well. It was a little over a year ago that we left Tulia. Just thinking back on that morning that we told the kids brings tears to my eyes. I hated to leave, but knew that the Lord was calling us in a different direction. So here we are a year later….
I started at ACU a year ago tomorrow. Funny how time flies. So, we’re not in the “New Beginning” stages anymore. I’m not sure really where we are in life so I’ve decided to call the blog…”Somewhere in Between.” I’m so content about where we are in life right now. School is tough for Clint, but we know it will pay off. My job is difficult at times, but I’m so thankful for it. So there it is…a new title and a new look...tell me what you think!

aww kat, i LOVE your new blog!! that girl is really fabulouso! love you, and let's DO hang out VERY soon!
Hey girl, you are still missed in Tulia. Tulia was kinda a new branch in my life 17 1/2 years ago. I never thought we'd be here this long, in fact it took us 5 years before we even bought our first house, and now can you believe we are on our 2nd home. Guess it just stuck for us. We really did hate to see you go and I know Kyla was really sad. I do appreciate and will never forget what you meant to us and will never forget the man who baptized my daughter, thanks clint. I know God has great things in store for you guys, I didn't want to see you go, but if God hadn't have moved you where he needed you, We might not be with the youth now, and I think its just what Matt and I needed. We love yall

The only appropriate color scheme is purple and white. It's your duty.

Liked your reflections over the last few years. Isn't it so great to have all of that documented? I love it, and I love reading about your sweet life!
