Sick and tired...no really

So, last week I thought I was safe...but apparently not. I stayed home sick today from work with a 101 fever. I really can't remember running fever, or even taking my temp for that matter since I was little. I was a huge faker back in the day. If I wanted to stay home from school, I would just go get the thermometer out of the bathroom, hold it up to the light fixture and then go tell my mom I was running fever. It worked almost every time. (Sorry if you're just now finding this out, Mom.) Anyway, I'm not faking today...promise. So, what's a girl to do besides sweat a lot and drink loads of gatorade on her sick day? Here's what...

I sat in the same chair all day sipping on gatorade and watching T.V. I couldn't stop making that "what the heck," face while watching Tyra. She's crazy. And who knew Ellen was so funny!

On to bigger and better things. Clint has been planning his summer plans for some time now. He couldn't decide what to do with his summer, but today God revealed a perfect plan. It looks like if all goes well, Clint will spend a week in Croatia studying Church History the first week of summer, and then spend ten weeks in Amarillo doing a preaching internship there. Of course it makes me sad that we'll spend all that time apart, but it really will be perfect for him. He was so excited today when he got the good news. So...if you have any free time this summer, come visit me in Abilene!

Wish I could take care of you now like I did then (you little faker)! But I don't really think you ever faked me out - I just liked having you home. Get well soon! Love you!
